Whatever you use in regular math class will be fine.2) If you use a school-provided calculator in math class that stays at school, then you *may* want to bring their own calculator to SAT class, but3) A graphing calculator is built-in to the new digital SAT. No purchase required. All students should bring a Chromebook/laptop/tablet to SAT class because then they can see real questions and the provided calculator in the Bluebook app. To successfully complete SAT math questions, students need a scientific calculator at minimum, not graphing, but again, a graphing calc is built into the app. The instructor will give a paper-and-pencil practice test on the first day, and will allow students to use any calculator they want, including the one on their cell phone. If you have any questions, contact the Commed office and we will be happy to assist you.
