SAT Preparation
This program is unavailable.
This course prepares students for the SAT Test. It is designed to reduce anxiety and increase test scores. Students will learn what types of questions to expect and how to apply test-taking strategies to improve their performance.
NOTE: This class is for students in grade 9 and above.
An SAT workbook must be purchased prior to the first class. You can purchase your book at any book store or by following the Amazon link here.
All students should bring a Chromebook/laptop/tablet to SAT class because then they can see real questions and the provided calculator in the Bluebook app.
Update on Class Materials for Math:
You do not need to buy a calculator for SAT class. Whatever you use in regular math class will be fine. If you use a school-provided calculator in math class that stays at school, then you *may* want to bring their own calculator to SAT class, but a graphing calculator is built-in to the new digital SAT. No purchase required.
Deadlines for test registration can be found at the College Board website: www.collegeboard.org
