Pilates is a mind, body, and spirit practice with benefits that include improved posture, better coordination and balance.  Increase lung capacity and improve concentration and focus. Increase body awareness, stress management, and injury prevention. Mat Pilates is a great choice for all levels of Pilates practitioners because the exercises not only can build in difficulty, but every exercise can also be modified to decrease or increase the level of challenge. Practicing Mat Pilates helps build a strong, balanced body and increases flexibility. As you progress in your practice, you will notice improvements in breathing, focus, and body awareness. This open-level class welcomes all abilities from beginner to advanced.Instructor: Jill BagniPlease bring a yoga mat or thicker mat for Pilates,  and a water bottle to class. About our Instructor: Jill Bagni is the owner of Clearly Classical Pilates and is a certified Power Pilates instructor for Basic Mat Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced Mat.  She has been teaching Pilates for 15 years in and around the Merrimack Valley.

Build on your pilates basics with more advanced exercises to obtain a deeper connection with your core.  This class focuses on the continuous flow of movement of exercises in the traditional order Joseph Pilates designed to create a challenging workout.  This dynamic workout focuses on moving with breath and fluidity.Instructor: Jill BagniPlease bring a yoga mat or thicker mat for Pilates,  and a water bottle to class. About our Instructor: Jill Bagni is the owner of Clearly Classical Pilates and is a certified Power Pilates instructor for Basic Mat Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced Mat.  She has been teaching Pilates for 15 years in and around the Merrimack Valley.

This playful workshop invites participants to draw and sketch in an open and relaxed environment. We begin with a few simple sketching games meant to inspire our imagination. As the session progresses, we generate interesting characters and settings. We then explore how words and pictures can come together to build a comic. Participants will write and draw their own stories inspired by their drawings.Please Note: This is a FREE program that is being generously provided through a grant from the Chelmsford Cultural Council and artist Cara Bean.    Space is limited!  Register today and if space fills, please be sure to add your child to the wait list in the event someone cancels.THIS CLASS IS LIMITED TO 20 KIDS!Instructor:  Cara BeanCara Bean is the author of here i am, i am me, and Draw 500 Funny Faces and Features and taught art at Lexington High School in Massachusetts for twelve years. She has an MFA in Drawing and Painting from the University of Washington in Seattle and received a certificate in cartooning from the Sequential Artists Workshop in Gainesville, Florida.She provides interactive workshops on creativity with people of all ages and backgrounds in various public forums. Cara is passionate about drawing and believes that the simple act of doodling on paper can lead to the investigation of complex ideas.When she is not teaching, she makes comics that delve into poetic self introspection, playful storytelling and topics relevant to teens and teaching. Cara is currently working on comics projects that speak directly to kids and address mental health.
