5:30 PM - 6:30 PM    Kid's Test Kitchen - Kid's Test Kitchen: Grades 1-5 (Session 2)
On a mission to redefine kid food; Kids’ Test Kitchen is a fun and engaging, hands-oncooking class for kids! With enthusiastic facilitation, we get eaters of all ages andabilities, cooking, tasting, and thinking about healthy ingredients!Kids’ Test Kitchen presents kids the opportunity to explore new or familiar foods in theirraw, unmanipulated state. Then, working as a team, they’ll slice, dice, peel, measure,and cook until they’ve prepared the finished dish. Class closes with an opportunity totaste the result of their hard work. Students receive a printed recipe card and the focalingredient - or a sample of the finished dish - so they can show off what they learned!Even the most reluctant eaters enjoy Kids’ Test Kitchen, where participation isencouraged, and the choice to taste is always one’s own.Lessons are planned to celebrate seasonal produce, whole grains, and legumes.Yes – join us again! Each series of classes offers fresh new recipes to prepare andexplore!Kids have food allergies, but they shouldn’t miss out on the fun. Operating under a different name, we started with a class or two through the Reading Public Schools, and then Lynnfield Community Schools. The response was surprisingly positive. Kids were eating new foods, parents were psyched, and session hosts wanted more! Early in 2016, we formed an LLC and updated the name to Kids’ Test Kitchen. We gathered talented individuals to facilitate Kids’ Test Kitchen classes and have added to our client list. Currently, Kids’ Test Kitchen is building a reputation in more than 65 schools and recreation departments.

This interactive discover based class inspires students to think ahead, visualize their goals, treat others with respect, and learn from mistakes.  Classes are geared to suit children of all skill levels from chessling to checkmate artists.  Students will build upon their knowledge through lessons, tournaments, variation games and more!This program is for all levels of ability - from beginners to more advanced players.  Please note:  There will be no class on Wednesday, November 27th in observance of Thanksgiving.About Chess Wizards:  We believe strongly that education should be fun and exciting.  Since our first classes in 2002, our Chess Wizards have inspired thousands of children across the United States and Canada to think logically, solve problems, win graciously, and learn from defeat.  Our academy is so successful because our approach is so unique.  Chess Classes and lessons are based around our original, fun, and high-energy Chess Wizards curriculum.  Regardless of a child's ability, Chess Wizards makes chess fun for all!
