Easy to learn yet endlessly rewarding, bridge is a game that combines strategy, memory, and teamwork — and is fun to play at every level. In this 6-week class, you’ll learn the fundamentals of bidding, playing, and scoring while gaining the confidence to sit at any bridge table. Each session begins with a short lesson, followed by guided practice play using prepared deals. With demonstrations, group discussions, and plenty of hands-on experience, you’ll quickly discover why bridge has been a favorite pastime for generations.Comprehensive handouts will be provided to all students.  The book Easybridge! by Edith McMullin is optional and may be purchased from the instructor for $15.Instructor:  Elizabeth GompelsAbout our Instructor:Elizabeth Gompels went to her first national tournament two months after learning to play duplicate bridge. She is a Silver Life Master, club director, and accredited teacher through the American Contract Bridge League (ACBL).

Whether you're a beginner or looking to sharpen your skills, this hands-on sewing class is designed around your own personalized project.The first class will be held at a local fabric store. You will receive expert guidance selecting a pattern, fabric, and the tools needed to bring you vision to life. Each class builds on essential skills including: taking accurate measurements, reading and adjusting patterns, cutting fabric with precision, assembling and finishing your garment or item. Bring your own sewing machine and get step-by-step support in a creative and encouraging environment. By the end of the course, you will have a completed project and the confidence and skills to take on many more. About Our Instructor:Therese Quinn has been sewing for the past 35 years, and has taught adult education for the past 16 years. She is experienced in making girl officer, crossing guard, and cheerleading uniforms. Terry also has experience in making and altering bridal gowns and wedding party dresses. Along with those, she makes custom drapes, English smocked dresses, and children’s clothing from christening dresses up to prom dresses.
