Young Artists Club: Drawing
Explore new drawing techniques while discovering the magic of making art. Skills like contouring, complex shapes, proportion, and shading will be introduced. We’ll expand our knowledge on different artistic styles while learning about famous artists – then transform those ideas into unique works of art. Young artists will be encouraged to be supportive of their classmate’s individual styles and skill levels. Throughout the class, students gain confidence, curiosity, and a stronger artistic voice.
Young Artists Club: Painting
Explore a variety of creative painting techniques with watercolor, tempera, and washable acrylics. Young artists will mix tints and shades, learn cool and warm color themes, layer paint, and use brushwork to show movement. Our weekly projects will help children think like artists and develop their own personal painting style. Inspired by famous artists and their paintings, students will create their own works of art
