Whether you are brand new to drawing or have limited experience, this process-oriented course will guide you through exercises designed to build a strong foundation in observational drawing. You’ll explore contour line drawing as well as key concepts such as value, proportion, perspective, and composition. Through hands-on practice and thoughtful instruction, you’ll develop the skills to draw what you see with confidence and leave the class inspired to continue your artistic journey.
Students are required to bring a sketch book, pencil set, thick and thin sharpie marker, blending stumps, kneaded erasures, and a gum erasure.
