Childcare will be held at the CommEd Building at 170 Dalton Road, Chelmsford MA 01824. We will be open from 7:00am-6:00pm.
This program is only for children who are enrolled in the Extended Day Program. Any other registrations will be removed.
Registration for February Vacation opens 1/29/2026 at 10:00am.
During Vacation/the Full PD Day, we will be rotating through stations in groups by age. Inside will be the option for games and activities to play, along with our Art projects. We will be outside enjoying the playground weather permitting, or we will use the Gym if needed playing our favorite gym games. Please see daily themes below for lists of activities.
If your child has an Epi Pen or an Inhaler that they bring to Extended Day, it is the family's responsibility to transfer the medication from their Extended Day site, or home, to the CommEd Building. Your child must have their medication in order to attend, and cannot stay in the program without their medication.
Please send your child with a lunch from home. Morning and afternoon snack will be provided.

Tuesday 2/17/26 All About Animals
Take a walk on the wild side! Today we will be exploring all about animals. During art time, we will use sand, fuse beads, and paint to create animals! There will be lots of time for monkeying around in the gym with animal themed relays, and cooperative play games.
Wednesday 2/18/26 Snow Day!
Bundle up! Send in Snow Gear today (Please label everything!), and weather depending, we will be going outside for snow play! We will warm up inside and create some snowflake crafts in the art room. We’ll race to beat the clock in the snow shoveling minute to win it game, make snowmen with Snow-Dough, and in the gym we’ll practice our penguin waddle in our relays!
Thursday 2/19/26 Space Explorers
Let’s blast off to the stars today! We have out of this world suncatchers to create and will be working in the art room on our Galaxy Oil Pastel projects. We’ll work on recreating constellations and imagining up our own! Space Invaders tag and Martians from Mars will be our gym activities
Friday 2/20/26 Amazing Athletes
Batter up! Today will be a slam dunk of sports activities, starting with visit from FAST Athletics in the morning! FAST Athletics will be bringing each group through the basics of some well-loved competitive games, and will throw in a few unique and new games too! We will celebrate our favorite sports while creating some Magnets, bookmarks, and necklaces, and learn to make our own paper footballs and try for a tabletop touchdown.
