This engaging session will help you navigate the challenges of your child's digital world and provide helpful tools for your parenting toolbox.  Learn practical strategies for social media/friendships, setting boundaries, ensuring online safety, and fostering healthy screen habits.  Empower yourself with the tools to help raise a teen with a smart technology foundation they will use into adulthood.

About our Instructor:  Nickie Welsh started her journey by helping family members with questions on how to use social media.  This sparked her passion to help more people and she soon found herself volunteering at a local senior center.  Social media has the power to connect and positive benefits are often felt by seniors who are unable to drive or may have family members and friends who live far away.  Social Club Simple’s mission is to make social media easy to understand and use to help people stay connected to loved ones and enhance the lives of others.  Nickie’s educational background includes a B.A. in Communication Studies from Iowa State University, Toastmasters International, and continuous professional development to stay technologically current.
