Explore different types of materials and techniques in this art class. Each week you will be painting on a different surface like heavy paper, canvas, wood, canvas board and more. The topic for each class will be different, including nature, animals, abstract objects to name a few. Each class will use different mediums for painting such as paint sticks, watercolors, acrylic paint pens and more.
A $25 supply fee paid to the instructor on the first day of class for all supplies needed including your own personal art journal in a fun art bag!
Instructor: Nancy Fillip
About Our Instructor:
Upon graduating from Norwich University in 1976, Nancy has embarked on a life-long career of teaching. She taught high school science and math, coached Varsity field hockey and gymnastics, and in her home-studio taught art, piano and woodwinds for over 40 years. Currently, she is teaching French and art for the adult education program (ALFA) at Fitchburg State University and the Westford Senior Center. She also teaches several courses for an online educational company out of Florida. Other interests include writing and Nancy has written and published nine books. The most important aspect of her life besides teaching is her family.
