Summer Fun

A majority of the weeks for Summerfest are full.

If you are unable to register for a week, please add your child to our Waitlist.

To Register for Summerfest, please fill out all paperwork before registration reopens. If your paperwork is not completed, you will not be able to register successfully for Summerfest.  Registration Opens March 20th

All Registration Forms are listed below, along with the spots that are available.

IMPORTANT - New for 2024  We are returning to a more traditional format to transition the students through the daily activities and eliminating the choice board.  All participants will be placed in a group with peers of similar age, and consistent teen/adult leaders. The group will travel together through the day to all the interest areas allowing for the children to bond with their peers and build a relationship with the teen/adult leaders while being exposed to all the interest areas.  All groups will be chosen at random based on the ages of the students enrolled each week.

Field Trips will be held on Wednesdays (with a Friday rain date) and the WaterSlide is scheduled for Thursdays. All activities are subject to change.

Summerfest Information:

The goal of Summerfest is to provide a valuable service to the parents of children in the Chelmsford area. The staff will make every effort to provide a safe and harmonious environment in which your child can make age appropriate choices that lead to sound social, emotional and physical development.

Welcome to Summerfest 2024!

We will have all our favorite areas open this summer: the STEM Room, Art Room, Chill Zone, Gym, Playground, Café, and Outdoor Rec. We will have weekly water features and in house guests or field trips. Our goal is to allow the children more time to do the things they really love, while still offering a variety of options.

Our program will be located at the Chelmsford Community Education Building, 170 Dalton Road 01824 Chelmsford, MA. Summerfest has lots of air-conditioned spots to cool off, and sprinklers and water play will provide refreshing fun on hot days. The staff consists of certified teachers, educational support personnel, nurses, college and high school students.

We will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

The Summerfest Staff looks forward to a fun. successful and safe summer working with you and your child.
