This beginner 4-week course will focus on painting landscapes using watercolors. In the first class you will practice watercolor techniques which can be used in future paintings. Once you have chosen what you would like to paint, you will learn to block in your drawing and apply the techniques you learned in the first class to your painting. Let your creativity flow in this fun class
Students will be required to purchase a pad of watercolor paper, brushes, and watercolor paints. More information will be provided prior to the first class.

About our Instructor: As a professional artist, Diane has sold many paintings and drawings in galleries, art shows, and privately all over New England. Recently retired after 24 years of teaching drawing, painting, sculpture, and photography at Chelmsford High School, Diane wants to continue to share her love of art with the adult Chelmsford community. She is excited to show you just how satisfying it is to create art.
