For Beginners:  This structured course focuses primarily on oral expression and is designed for beginners.  You will learn how to introduce yourself, talk about your interests, and understand basic commonly-used phrases.  Class will include some interactive scenarios with other students to practice communicating with others.

Level 2:  This class is designed for students who have a basic knowledge of Spanish and are ready to move to the next level of learning.  The course focuses primarily on oral expression, understanding basic commonly used phrases, and engaging in interactive activities, games, and roleplay scenarios to strengthen your ability to communicate effectively with others.

Students are not required to purchase any materials for this course.

Please Note:  This class will be virtual only and will not meet in person.


Instructor:  Lauren Salazar

About Our Instructor:
Lauren has 4 years of experience in language teaching starting back when she was in college completing her Bachelor's degree in psychology. A native speaker of English and Spanish, and a passionate learner of French, she spent two years tutoring university students in various language courses. She then spent two additional years teaching English to French students in Southern France, ranging from kindergarteners to graduate students . She is passionate about language learning and enjoys helping others excel in foreign languages . Lauren currently works for a non-profit helping at-risk hispanic youth find academic mentors in the Lawrence community.
