Have you been curious as to what Snapchat is exactly? In this workshop we will cover everything adults need to know about one of most popular social media apps in the world. You'll learn the foundation for how Snapchat is used, what the basic features include, and more. Stay up to date in today's digital world with this fun and informational class. Attendees will learn the basic fundamentals of how the app works, how to set up safety features, how to check for profile details, and how advertisers work to target audience members.

Instructor:  Nickie Welsh, Social Club Simple

About our Instructor:  Nickie Welsh started her journey by helping family members with questions on how to use social media.  This sparked her passion to help more people and she soon found herself volunteering at a local senior center.  Social media has the power to connect and positive benefits are often felt by seniors who are unable to drive or may have family members and friends who live far away.  Social Club Simple’s mission is to make social media easy to understand and use to help people stay connected to loved ones and enhance the lives of others.  Nickie’s educational background includes a B.A. in Communication Studies from Iowa State University, Toastmasters International, and continuous professional development to stay technologically current.
