Ayurveda… The science of Life
Ayurveda is a complete healing system focusing on giving you tools and practices to create health on a daily basis by using your innate healing ability. It is one of the world's oldest holistic (“whole-body”) healing systems. It’s based on the belief that health and wellness depend on a delicate balance between the mind, body, and spirit. Its main goal is to promote good health. This 6 week series, will introduce you to Ayurveda, calculate your specific body/mind type, and offer suggestions for enhancing your life through the six pillars of wellness: movement (yoga and breath), nutrition and nourishment , emotions, sleep, meditation and stress management, and grounding. Each week we will discuss a different topic and offer up suggestion for your specific mind/body type, through the 6 pillars. Expect discussion, gentle stretching and yoga, meditation and healing. This course will provide you with tips to reduce inflammation in the body, promote digestion, settle the mind and enhance sleep.
Please bring a yoga mat and water bottle to class. Meditation pillow or blanket optional

Whether you are new to yoga/meditation or a seasoned practitioner, you will leave Courtney’s classes feeling supported and with something new to practice or think about both on and off the mat.
