Instructor:  Mary B. Hayes

About Our Instructor:
Mary Beth Hayes is the lead designer for Semper Virens Flowers in Chelmsford. She learned about flowers from her mother Loretta that flowers make any place more beautiful, and show our love and respect for others.  Her floral designs are garden-inspired, loose and organic in style. She grows many of her own flowers in season.

Before Mary's love of flowers became a second career, she worked as an environmental consultant for over 20 years, cleaning up hazardous waste sites. Mary has managed to combine these two passions, and she grows and creates beautiful floral designs with a focus on using seasonal materials. She practices sustainable floristry to reduce her environmental footprint.
