SummerQuest is our summer program specifically for preteens and teens. Our program is designed to meet the unique needs of our community's older kids to help keep them entertained and excited during the summer and offer them increased freedom.
We are offering 6 weeks of off-site field trips. Each Friday will be a ½ day community service project and a ½ day at Varney Park/Freeman Lake. Our weekly service project will help our teens foster an appreciation for our town, and instill in them the value of giving back.
SummerQuest is open from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Tuition will be $280 per week. (With the exception of Week 1).
SummerQuest is designed for kids entering 6th grade through entering 9th grade. We schedule our weeks with full day field trips that will bring your child to a variety of locations with exciting and enriching activities such as rock climbing, hiking, amusement parks, kayaking, ropes courses and more! We use these trips to create a social environment where kids can engage with their peers with guided independence.
Our home base is the Chelmsford Community Education Building, 170 Dalton Road Chelmsford, MA 01824. We will use the Rec Room as our Drop-Off and Pick-Up room. This room will have gaming consoles, cards, and enough items to keep our kids entertained in the event of an emergency cancellation or change in plans. We are a RAIN OR SHINE program!
