Health Claims:  Fact or Fiction?
Health claims on food labels and in marketing are claims by manufacturers that their product will reduce the risk of developing a disease or condition.  Join us for a review of popular claims and the basis upon which these claims are developed.

PLEASE NOTE:  YOU WILL BE "WAITLISTED" FOR THIS CLASS AT TIME OF REGISTRATION AND WILL NOT BE CHARGED UNTIL THE MINIMUM NUMBER OF REGISTRANTS REQUIRED HAS BEEN REACHED.  WHEN THAT MINIMUM HAS BEEN SATISFIED, YOU WILL BE MOVED FROM THE WAITLIST AND AN INVOICE FOR PAYMENT WILL BE EMAILED TO YOU.  AFTER PAYMENT HAS BEEN MADE, YOU WILL RECEIVE AN ADDITIONAL EMAIL WITH LOGIN INFORMATION TO JOIN THE CLASS.

This will be a two-hour workshop with Instructor Nina Anderson.

About Our Instructor:
Nina Anderson has over 15 years of experience teaching at the collegiate and post-doctoral level.  A graduate of the University of Washington, Nina has been involved in many service related activities including, establishing community-based projects to provide care and education to the underserved population at WIC, the Cambridge Health Alliance, and the Veterans Affairs Hospitals.  She has also worked with the Harvard Medical School's office of Diversity Inclusion and Community Partnership as a mentor.  Other activities include service with literacy volunteers, pipeline/mentoring and military veterans' transitional programs.
