Summer Sing! Musical Theatre for Kids

Do you like to act, sing and dance? Then Summer Sing! musical theatre class is for you! Students will learn acting skills, singing techniques, and dance moves. No previous theatre experience required. Students will perform a short combination for family and friends on the last day of the session showcasing what they have learned. Come enjoy a fun week full of acting, singing, and dancing!
Students should wear non-restrictive clothing (no jeans, please) and sneakers. No flip flops or slip on shoes will be permitted. Please remember to bring a water bottle to class.
About our Instructor:
Catiana Rosario Bicalho is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts, Lowell in their Music Studies program. She completed her college internship in the music department at South Row school under the guidance of Amanda Cooper. Catiana has been playing piano since the age of 7 and is also an accomplished singer and guitarist. She currently teaches at Needham High School, where she is the Choir & String Director. She also teaches guitar, piano and voice in the evenings.
Olivia Minchello is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts, Lowell in their Music Studies program. Olivia was part of UML's Chamber Singers and Opera Workshop, and was the general manager of Fermata Nowhere - UML's Premiere all female-identified a cappella group! Olivia spent two summers studying at the New England Conservatory's Opera Workshop and the Sarteano Choral Conducting Workshop in Sarteano, Italy. Olivia is in grad school at UMass Lowell. When Olivia is not singing, you can find her crocheting or playing with her dog Bear!
