About Our Instructor:
Ashley Frankian holds a Bachelor of Science in Communication Disorders - Speech/language Pathology and a minor in Spanish from Worcester State College and is currently completing her Master's degree in the field of Special Education for students with Moderate Needs, along with obtaining her MA DESE Provisional License. In addition, she is a licensed Speech/Language Pathology Assistant in Massachusetts. She majored in Spanish at the University of Salamanca in Spain where she became fluent in the language. Ashley has a solid background of providing special education and related services such as, teaching ESL students, Communication Disorders, Social Skills and Spanish Classes, for the past 15 years to elementary aged students, and adults. She is currently an Adjunct Instructor at Quinsigamond Community College.
Beginner/Intermediate Spanish II
This beginner/intermediate Spanish course takes Spanish language skills to the next level.
Differentiation between beginning and intermediate levels will be provided through all classes to meet the various levels of all students. All language is covered in this course, including conversational speech, vocabulary, pronunciation, grammar and spelling, at both beginner and intermediate levels.
Intro to Basic Spanish
Have you ever wished you could speak another language? Are you planning a trip and want to be able to communicate better with the locals? Students will learn by application and practice, using listening, speaking, reading and writing activities. A textbook will be included in the cost of this program.
Complete Spanish - Intermediate Level
In this continuation of what students learned in Intro to Basic Spanish, students will continue to learn by application and practice, using listening, speaking, reading and writing activities. A textbook will be included in the cost of this program. It is suggested that all students registering for this class complete Intro to Basic Spanish first, but our instructor can offer a simple placement test to determine which class would be most appropriate for your skill level.
