Vinyasa Flow Yoga classes dynamically link the flowing nature of breath with mindful, continual movement. This heat building flow not only increases strength and flexibility but trains the mind to be more content and relaxed throughout difficult challenges on and off the mat. Fluid yogis embrace qualities embodied by the universal elements to become grounded and balanced.  In this class the instructor will offer hands - on assistance (if welcomed) and modifications for all levels. 

PLEASE NOTE:  YOU WILL BE "WAITLISTED" FOR THIS CLASS AT TIME OF REGISTRATION AND WILL NOT BE CHARGED UNTIL THE MINIMUM NUMBER OF REGISTRANTS REQUIRED HAS BEEN REACHED.  WHEN THAT MINIMUM HAS BEEN SATISFIED, YOU WILL BE MOVED FROM THE WAITLIST AND AN INVOICE FOR PAYMENT WILL BE EMAILED TO YOU.  AFTER PAYMENT HAS BEEN MADE, YOU WILL RECEIVE AN ADDITIONAL EMAIL WITH LOGIN INFORMATION TO JOIN THE CLASS.

Instructor: Kathy Otto

About our Instructor:
Kathy was introduced to yoga by a friend and a fellow yoga teacher in 2012 as she was looking to find relief from some minor discomfort due to many years of strenuous workouts.  She quickly learned that the practice was so much more than just physical or about being "flexible" but the connection of the body, mind and spirit through this practice was life changing.
A graduate of Fluid Yoga Teacher Training in 2018, a Vinyasa-based practice, she holds her 200-hour RYT certificate, has completed several workshops/trainings and is presently enrolled in a 300-hour Advance Teacher Training at Lexington Power Yoga furthering her desire to deepen her knowledge as well as stay current with the newer teachings.
Her desire to help her students comes through in her teachings by helping to remind them to take time to slow down, nurture themselves and reduce stress, ultimately leading to overall better health - both physically and mentally.  Her strong commitment to the longevity of her own ability to be athletic can be felt through her understanding of proper alignment-based practice.
Kathy teaches Vinyasa flow, Gentle flow and Restorative styles of yoga and is adept at and enjoys teaching all levels.


Please bring a yoga mat, two yoga blocks and water bottle to class.
