Do you know how to knit but would like to tackle a more challenging project or learn a new knitting skill?
Beginners will learn how to cast on, knit, purl, and cast off while knitting a small class project of a small coin purse.
Continuing knitters should bring their own projects and receive help from the teacher.
Beginners should bring a light-colored, worsted weight yarn (worsted number 4), and U.S. size 6, 7, or 8 knitting needles.
Class will not be held on the following dates during the Winter Spring 2023 session:
- February 21
- April 18
- April 25

About Our Instructor:
Dale Koethe is from Durham, North Carolina and has a BS in Zoology from UNC and a MS in Entomology from NCSU. Since the birth of her first child, she has been involved with various needlecrafts, including quilting, cross-stitch, smocking and knitting. She currently sells hand-smocked doll dresses.
