Would you like to learn how to knit? Do you know how to knit but would like to tackle a more challenging project or learn a new knitting skill? This class is open to anyone interested in knitting.
Beginners will learn how to cast on, knit, purl, and cast off while knitting a small class project. Continuing knitters should either bring their own projects or the instructor will provide a project in class for the cost of the materials.
As of August 16,2021, the Chelmsford School District Superintendent's office is requiring the use of masks for all people - vaccinated or unvaccinated - when inside any of our school buildings, so please remember to bring a mask to class with you.
Beginners should purchase a ball of medium weight yarn (worsted number 4) preferably a light color wool, and 24" Size 7 circular knitting needles.

About Our Instructor:
Dale Koethe is from Durham, North Carolina and has a BS in Zoology from UNC and a MS in Entomology from NCSU. Since the birth of her first child, she has been involved with various needlecrafts, including quilting, cross-stitch, smocking and knitting. She currently sells hand-smocked doll dresses.
