About Our Instructor:
Brian McGravey has been teaching piano for over 13 years and playing piano for over 22 years. In 2013 he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Business from the University of Massachusetts Lowell with a specialty in piano performance. Along with teaching he is an active composer and performer. His compositions have been featured on many major TV networks including: HBO, Nickelodeon, VH1, MTV, CBS Sports and many more. He has performed with dozens of bands and ensembles all over the east coast including “Wanted DOA”: America’s truly authentic Bon Jovi tribute band, and “Closing Time” one of Boston’s premier wedding and function groups. While being passionate about all of the above, he truly enjoys creating an enjoyable and unique teaching experience for each of his students. Instead of always going “by the book”, he is always open to suggestions and will craft a unique experience based on the student’s skill level and current goals.
