Let's paint fun projects on all kinds of surfaces! Students will be allowed to choose their subject matter based on the theme of the class using acrylics while learning painting tips and techniques. They will be provided with individual instruction (based on their skill level). Themes may include animals, landscapes, animals, people, and abstract art.
A $25 material fee payable to the instructor will be collected the first day of class. Materials may include: canvas, mat boards, acrylic paper, acrylics, brushes, pencil, and eraser.
Students should bring an old shirt or smock to wear while painting and a medium container for water.

About Our Instructor:
Upon graduating from Norwich University in 1976, Nancy has embarked on a life-long career of teaching. She taught high school science and math, coached Varsity field hockey and gymnastics, and in her home-studio taught art, piano and woodwinds for over 40 years. Currently, she is teaching French and art for the adult education program (ALFA) at Fitchburg State University and the Westford Senior Center. She also teaches several courses for an online educational company out of Florida. Other interests include writing and Nancy has written and published nine books. The most important aspect of her life besides teaching is her family.
